Abstract Submission

Please note, that abstracts need to be submitted online. They may not exceed 4.000 characters (including spaces). 
Only abstracts reporting results, even of ongoing research, are eligible for oral presentation. Research in process without results at given in the abstract is only eligible for poster presentation.

You can either submit your abstract for the ISAZ conference or for the Satellite meeting. You can not submit the same abstract for both!

Student Award

On behalf of ISAZ and Mars/WALTHAM, we are pleased to announce the 2014 Competition for Best Student Oral and Poster Presentations. In order to be eligible for these awards, the following criteria must be met:

1. The Oral or Poster Presentation must include original research results relevant to the aims of the International Society for Anthrozoology – a supportive organization for the scientific and scholarly study of human-animal interactions.
2. A student must be the presenting author of the presentation.
3. Only current ISAZ members who have paid their annual dues may participate.
4. The student must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, masters, or PhD program or must provide evidence (i.e., email from faculty sponsor) that the work was completed as a student. Work done as a postdoctoral trainee is not eligible for this award.
5. If the student is not listed as the first author on the presentation, a letter or email from the faculty sponsor must be sent confirming that the presentation reflects the student’s original work.
6. Only one entry per student will be considered. Students with both oral and poster presentations or with multiple posters presentations must clearly select which presentation they would like to submit for consideration.
